Sheger is Amharic for the heart of Addis Ababa — and that's the feeling we wanted to bring to Forest Lane. A neighborhood spot where you can stock up on berbere and teff in the morning, sit down for kitfo and injera at lunch, and pick up dinner for the family on the way home. Everything is made the way our families made it: slowly, with real spices, and never out of a box.
